Governor Pritzker issued Executive Order 2021-20 on August 26th, 2021.  Executive Order 2021-20 requires all individuals in Illinois who are age two or over and able to medically tolerate a face covering shall be required to cover their nose and mouth with a face covering when in an indoor public place.  In accordance with the Executive Order, face coverings must be worn at Oregon Park District indoor locations beginning immediately, regardless of vaccination status.  All users will be required to wear a face mask in the facility as well as when actively engaged in exercise.  Indoor pool users are allowed to remove their mask prior to entering the water.  Pool spectators are required to wear a mask at all times.  A copy of the Governor’s Executive Order can be found here:

The Oregon Park District has followed guidance provided by the Governor, IDPH and CDC since the beginning of the pandemic and will continue to do so.  Safety has been and will continue to be one of our top priorities.  Additional requirements may be necessary and will be communicated as the State of Illinois issues updated guidelines.
