Sealed Bid Notice – 2000 Chevy 2500 HD Regular Cab

The Oregon Park District invites sealed bids for the purchase of a 2000 Chevy Chevrolet 2500 HD Regular Cab – Long Bed that the District has deemed surplus property. The vehicle is inoperable and requires maintenance.

Sealed bids will be accepted at the Nash Recreation Center until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2023. The bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with purchasers name, contact information and bid amount. Bids can be left at the front counter at Nash Recreation Center or mailed to Oregon Park District, attn. Dan Griffin, PO Box 237, Oregon, IL 61061.

The sealed bids will be opened at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2023. The winner will be notified within three days of selection and required to present full payment and complete equipment pickup within five (5) business days. If a winning bidder fails to present payment, the second lowest bidder will be given the next opportunity.

The vehicle is able to be viewed at the Park District Maintenance Building at 601 Hill St. Oregon, IL. While the vehicle is inoperable and requires maintenance, the additional specifications are below:
