Outdoor adventures can happen surprisingly close to home! Come out for an educational nature program with fun for all ages. Each backyard wildlife safari program features hands-on activities themed around a different aspect of Northern Illinois flora and fauna. Perfect for parent/child or grandparent groups, this is a fun way to get outdoors. Ages 5 and under are FREE! Ages 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Everyone in attendance must register. Themes, dates and times for each session are listed below:
Fri 5/24: Predators and Prey in Park West; 9:00-10:00 am • Deadline: 5/20
Fri 6/14: Critter Detectives in Park East; 9:00-10:00 am • Deadline: 6/10
Fri 7/19: Prairie in Bloom at the Community Gardens; 9:00-10:00 am • Deadline: 7/15
Fri 8/9: Animals of the Night in Fairgrounds Park; 7:00-8:00 pm • Deadline: 8/5
