Our beloved hometown would not exist without the Rock River. Not only is the Rock River connected to all our local history, but it is also connected to one
of the most incredible natural habitat areas in the United States. Join us at the Oregon Public Library for a virtual tour of the Rock River headwaters. Horicon Marsh is sometimes called the
“little Everglades of the North” and is the origin of our very own Rock River. We will enjoy an interactive presentation from a former Horicon Marsh guide, highlighting the incredible story and
wildlife of Horicon Marsh. This program is a collaboration between Oregon Park District and the Oregon Public Library District. Register in advance at the Oregon Public Library District’s website.
