Watch for eagles in a castle! Stronghold Camp and Retreat Center is opening its doors for a special celebration of the winter eagle-watching tradition. Doors will open at 9:00, and we will enjoy a full brunch buffet served at 9:30. During the brunch, we will enjoy a program on bald eagles and other Illinois winter birds. Eagle-watching will take place from Stronghold Castle after the meal and program, including the option to enjoy a full castle tour. Stronghold Camp and Retreat Center’s dining facilities are fully wheelchair accessible, but the castle is not and contains stairs.
Registration includes brunch buffet, presentation, optional castle tour, and eagle watching. Registrations for this unique event make great gifts. Bring your binoculars and your appetite.
