April 1st Update

Starting today, you’ll notice construction activity beginning at Park East, starting with the removal of select trees. This step is necessary to make way for exciting improvements, including ADA-accessible access to the new trail addition and playground installation. Some of the trees being removed are also diseased or showing signs of breakage, which makes this the right time for renewal.

But here’s the good news — we’re committed to restoring and enhancing the natural beauty of the park! 🌼🌱
As part of the construction plan, we will be planting: ✅ 40 new trees
24 shrubs
60 perennial plants

Thank you for your patience and support as we work to make Park East more inclusive, safe, and beautiful for everyone to enjoy! 💚
