The Oregon Park District Children’s Center program is designed to help prepare your child for kindergarten. Children will learn both indoors and outdoors utilizing both of our classrooms. Mrs. Crandall and Ms. Teresa have developed a curriculum to assist your child’s social and emotional development as well as providing kindergarten readiness skills.
Drop-off and pick-up will occur at our Children’s Center entrance located at School Street and South 6th Street. This location allows for you to drop your child off at the entrance from your car directly to our teachers.
The Tuesday/Thursday class is geared towards 3 year olds and younger 4 year olds. Class meets from 8:15-10:45 am two days per week. Children must be at least 3 years old to attend the two-day class.
The Monday/Wednesday/Friday class is structured for 4 year olds and younger 5 year olds. Children must be at least 4 years old by September 1 to attend. Class will meet on Monday and Friday from 8:15-11:00 am. Wednesday class will meet from 8:15 am-12:00 pm. Children will bring a packed lunch each Wednesday and enjoy lunch with their teachers to help prepare them for school lunches in Kindergarten.
